Fair Winds Dermatology offers several cosmetic services at this time. Your cosmetic consultation will involve an in-depth examination of your skin and anatomy, your goals of therapy, and a discussion of potential treatment plans. Our aesthetic approach is to make you confident in your own skin, and our style generally radiates “well rested” rather than radical change.
Cosmetic consultations with Dr. Burns requires a $250 deposit that can be applied towards treatments. Please check back with this site as we add further cosmetic services in the future!
Services We Offer
Botox
Botox® is an FDA-approved safe and effective product used to lessen and even eliminate unwanted facial wrinkles. It works by relaxing the muscles that form facial wrinkles in areas such as the forehead and crow’s feet, thereby achieving a more youthful appearance. Botox® can also be used to treat hyperhidrosis, or excessive sweating.
Chemical Peels
Fair Winds Dermatology has several chemical peels available, including salicylic acid, glycolic acid, and trichloroacetic acid peels. Chemical peels can be used to smoothen skin, treat acne, lessen dark pigmentation, and build collagen.
Treatment of benign growths
We understand if you want to get rid of benign growths even if they are harmless. During your consultation we will discuss your treatment goals and options based on what you want treated. Often the treatment can be performed the same day as the consultation. Our surgical team has ample experience in facial reconstruction and treatment of other delicate areas. Here are some growths that we commonly treat:
- Skin tags
- Benign moles
- Seborrheic keratosis
- Angiomas (enlarged blood vessels)
- Fordyce spots (oil glands) on lips
- Angiokeratomas of the genitals
